Serving Java Developers since 1999
Java has been referred to as "The Everywhere Platform For a Connected World." It is the most popular programming language for the development and operation of enterprise grade, and mobile, web applications. Java has achieved widespread acceptance for many reasons, including application portability and the development of a large infrastructure of tools, libraries and extensions of the language. In addition to being the preferred choice for enterprise web applications, Java now runs on literally billions of mobile phones and other devices. eApps® is pleased to offer an outstanding Java Hosting service to the Java community.
Your Choice Of Two Platforms
We offer two great, high performance platforms for Java Hosting - Virtual Cloud Server (VCS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). eApps® makes Java hosting easy in both of our platforms. Each platform is designed to ensure that the Java libraries and components you need are easy to install and use.
Our Virtual Cloud Server platform provides OS templates with Tomcat, WildFly, GlassFish, and Liferay Portal and required components already pre-installed and ready for use as soon as your Virtual Server is provisioned. You will have a private
instance of Java in your own Virtual Server with root access and full
control of the environment. Upgrades and downgrades can be performed easily using your
For users of our Platform as a Service (PaaS), Java is automatically installed with your choice of an extensive library of Java app servers, tools and frameworks, including Tomcat, GlassFish, WildFly, TomEE, Payara, SpringBoot and more. Our PaaS also fully supports Docker®.
Regardless of which platform you choose, when you need assistance, our responsive, and knowledgeable support team is available 24/7 by phone, world-wide toll free phone via Skype VoIP, chat, web form and email. eApps has been providing Java web hosting services to Java users since 1999, and is ready to help you achieve your goals.

History Of Java
The Java programming language was originally
developed by James Gosling, a computer
scientist, while at Sun Microsystems (since
acquired by Oracle Corporation). The goal of
Java was to have a modern, object-oriented
language with minimal dependencies that can run
on any type of computer through the use of a
Virtual Machine. Once a Virtual Machine is
established on any type of computer, programs
written in Java would run on that computer
without being recompiled.
The first intended use for Java was to run on interactive Cable TV devices, but the language was too advanced for the cable television industry at that time. Sun Microsystems saw the broad potential and released the first public implementation of Java in 1995. The rapid growth of the Internet in the late 1990s drove the growth of Java as it was well suited for the development and operation of enterprise web applications.
From November 2007 through May 2008 Sun Microsystems released Java as open source software under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Java remains a "de facto" standard, controlled through the Java Community Process. The language has thrived under this process, with the Enterprise Editions (EE), being recognized as the premier platform for Enterprise applications. Java software runs on data center servers, laptops, gaming consoles, supercomputers, special purpose devices, and billions of mobile phones. There are numerous reasons for the success and popularity of Java. Some of the widely recognized reasons are as follows:
An estimated 15 billion devices run on the Java platform. This includes airplane systems, ATMs, disc players, mobile phones, CT scanners, home security systems, parking meters, printers, robots, TVs and more. The list is almost endless
The Java runtime environment is available even to non-Java programmers. Programming support extends to many popular languages including, Ruby, Python, Groovy, Scala, Clojure, and more
Java continues to advance, but incrementally. Careful attention is paid to ensure that enterprise applications running on Java are not disrupted by rapid change
Several powerful Integrated Development Environments exist for Java, which reduces the complexity of programming, and greatly increased programmer productivity
Millions of experienced Java programmers and engineers can be found to tackle any computing challenge using the language
As rapidly growing Internet companies can attest, Java is scalable and designed for deployment in a Cloud environment
