eApps® provides a variety of Operating System choices when creating a Virtual Cloud Server, or elastic VPS in our Platform as a Service (PaaS).

Virtual Cloud Server - On this platform the eApps® Create-A-Cloud® tool allows you to create a custom Virtual Private Server in the Cloud with a Linux or Windows Operating System and guaranteed allocations of CPU, RAM, and Disk. You also have a number of Control Panel choices, and choices of templates with popular application software pre-installed for your convenience. With the Virtual Cloud Server platform you get the resources, Control Panel and Operating System you need at a known, recurring price. As demand for computing resources increases or decreases, you can change your resource allocations immediately, without penalty. With the eApps® virtual server hosting service, powered by OnApp, you get custom, flexible Linux VPS hosting, or Windows VPS hosting, that fits your needs.

Platform as a Service (PaaS) - This platform allows you to create an auto-scaling Virtual Private Server, called an elastic VPS, with your choice of Linux Operating System. Any OS or Control Panel for Linux that is available in a public or private Docker repository can be deployed as an elastic VPS. This approach provides an ideal Linux VPS hosting solution for applications that need to handle peak loads. For your convenience we also offer a CentOS with ISPmanager Control Panel choice that is identical to the same offering in our Virtual Cloud platform.

The following OS choices, and Control Panels, are available for each of our platforms. All Control Panels provide access to applications library. CentOS with ISPmanager is offered at no extra charge and also provides access to eApps library of applications. Some choices have a license fee.
