GlassFish Hosting
GlassFish is a Java EE compliant application server, fully capable of serving enterprise web applications.
GlassFish is not just another Java application server. The Reference Implementation (RI) of Java EE 5 and the Java EE 5 SDK are actually derived from the GlassFish code. What this means for the end user is that GlassFish delivers support for new Java functionality fast and with the highest possible level of conformity with the Java specifications. Fast AND good. And with the release of GlassFish v3, Java EE 6 is now supported. There is no better environment for the serious Java developer.
eApps Offers Superior GlassFish Hosting Environment
eApps Hosting has offered Java hosting since 1999, starting with Apache Tomcat hosting. We were one of the first to offer JBoss hosting services. The evolution continues, as we now fully support GlassFish hosting in a reasonably priced Virtual Machine (VM) plan. Our GlassFish hosting service uses a Xen VM running on a cloud platform powered by onapp, providing you the most advanced technology available in the hosting industry. You have a private instance of GlassFish in your VM, with root access and full control. Your plan is also scalable vertically (easy upgrade to higher plans with no downtime) and horizontally (add additional VM instances in a load balanced cluster). We know of no better GlassFish hosting platform available today.

History of GlassFish
In 2005 Sun Microsystems decided to release their commercial grade Java application server, called Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9, to the public domain. Soon afterwards, a community of developers formed for the purpose of developing a commercial grade, open source application server that implements Java EE. Using the Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9, donated by Sun Microsystems, and source code for TopLink, a Java object-to-relational persistence architecture, donated by Oracle, the community launched the GlassFish project. On May 4, 2006, Project GlassFish released the first version that supports the Java EE 5 specification. Since that time, the GlassFish community has grown and the project has gained momentum, with Version 2 in widespread use and the release in December 2009 of Version 3 with Java EE 6 support.
There is no better environment for the serious Java developer.
